Last year I bought a 149 with a rose gold OBBB nib inspired by this thread! I ended up trading that pen as I found the section didn't suit my hand, despite the beauty of the nib.

 

I'm very excited to now how a 146 with an OBB in rose gold on the way to me, so U can share some photos on this thread again, and enjoy the smooth writing of a Montblanc oblique

What might be a general estimate of the vintage of your 14C two-tone OB?

Does it write well for you?

I estimate late 1970s based on the characteristics of the pen. The nib is very smooth and very willing to write at various angles and degrees of rotation, especially compared to broader obliques like O3B. I'll see about a writing sample.

 

It was a pleasant surprise how well it wrote with just s little cleaning. It is in the early January rotation of pens.
