After examining both inks in a Montblanc boutique, it seems that the 2020 Year of the Rat Charm Yellow is a darker color, hence easier to read on light paper.

I'll be interested to see what you think of the Marine Blue. In my 149 with a broad nib it looks grey, with a very slight bluish tint.

As fortune would have it, the past 24 hours have seen the installation of an updated photo post-processing tool...long overdue.

The arrival of an operating system update necessitated other changes, hence I'm dragging a bit with readying the image sets for each ink.

Regarding Montblanc Elixir Parfumeur Marine Blue, there won't be any dissent from your astute assessment.
