That's gorgeous Tom. My new wallpaper, thanks!

After following this topic for nearly 18 months, I thought I might finally contribute with a picture of my own.

It was because of the amazing photos on this thread that I had my first (but probably not last) 149 equipped with an O3B about a year ago. Thanks must go to Tom and all the other posters for showing off their wonderful pens :) .

Is that Irish Green on the nib?

Wow! What a way to make an entrance!

Thanks very much Reed :D .

Is that Irish Green on the nib?

No, its actually Robert Oster Lake of Fire. I think the lighting and the colour corrections I did on the photo make it look much greener than it should be.

Is that Irish Green on the nib?

My first thought was Irish Green as well :D

I'll have to ink one of my pens up with it again, such a beautiful green.

My next goal is a MB149 with an EF nib or something in that range ^^

Auds...

That's a monster nib...my 149's with their XXF, XF, and F can't compete...

David

Tom...I miss seeing your hand written responses...they inspire me...

I bought MB Swan Illusion...I can't get it to look anything like your writing sample...I even used an XXF nib...the ink is too wet...and comes out like a light golden brown versus a grey brown...which looks semi vintage to me.

Regards,

David
