What Pens Are You Using Today 2019

Pelikan pre-reunification M600 (similar to modern 400, says 'W. Germany' on the cap ring), black with M nib, bought new at Stempel-Bergen in Goettingen in 2005.

Waterman Intense Black

This combination gives a wide dark line with little feathering, useful for classroom lectures using a document camera.

i am using my trusty Sailor 1911L that I nib-meistered myself to make it write like a Broad nib , albeit it started life as MF nib

I meant nib-destroyed

But it writes really nice, so perhaps I did nib-meister it. Who r u to judge me anyways :lticaptd:

The pen uses my trusty Pilot Blue-Black ink, flowing nicely on my trusty Staples notebook , with no feathering or bleed through or anything

Kinda sorta amazing gig for Fonzie cool people who need to utilize tons of reasonably priced paper in their work day in and day out

Last night my M405 Stresseman with Fading Grey, along with my sort-of EDC, the M300 with Musk Green.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Now if only that Pro Gear was a little thinner and offered in a broad nib. So.. basically if only it was a different pen.

Today it was rather an eclectic (and somewhat international) set:

1942 Parker Laidtone Duofold, Sheaffer EF nib, with Birmingham Smithfield Street Truss Blue.

Noodler's ebonite Konrad, flex nib, with Sailor Souboku.

Pelikan M120 Iconic Blue, M nib, with Diamine Guitar Tobacco Sunset.

Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

The massive nib is a work of art

Forgot to say what they are, but I think they need no introduction.

I carry a Cross Century Classic as my EDC ballpoint too when I'm at work. I got the perfect sized sleeve for it from Fendrihan:

https://www.fendrihan.ca/collections/pen-cases-and-clips/products/e-m-holzprodukte-stecketui-leather-pen-case

That way I can carry it my pocket without worrying about either leaks or the Century tearing a hole in my pocket liner. The tail end of the pen pokes out of the sleeve by the smallest amount which makes it easy to grab too. I emailed both Fendrihan and the manufacturer separately to make sure it's proper leather and they both confirmed it. Great accessory for the price.
