Today it's been the Midnight Blue Parker 51 Aerometric, with KWZI Chicago Blue LE, and the ebonite Konrad (Methusaleh's Pine Cone Ripple) with Sailor Souboku.

Was an inky delivery day today so I've been testing three mixes of De Atramentis Document Fuschia (magenta) and Turquoise (cyan) in:

* A Platinum Carbon Desk Pen - because it can handle pigment ink in stride

* 2x Jinhao 992s because they're replacable, pretty easy to clean and seem to handle any ink that's thrown at them.

Flushed out my Danitrio Hakkaku and filled it with Edelstein Olivine ink. Gorgeous nib on this one.

How do you like that ink in the pen? I got one with a 1.1 stub nib, just to be different, and for giggles tried it with Diamine Shimmer Arabian Nights, which is not a good combo, as it turns out: the ink is very wet (and bled through even good paper) but then goes through spells where it just stops writing at all. I was able to control it somewhat by writing with the nib upside down! Thinking that when this fill is done, I'm going to try something that I know is drier....

Filled my new Sailor 1911L for the first time, and refilled an old favorite, my trusty Lamy 2000 with the nib tuned by Michael Masuyama. I am really into Iroshizuku inks lately, hence their use in two of my pens.

After discovering the only ink left in the Aurora Ipsilon Quadra Sterling was that clinging to the feed, proceeded to flush/clean that pen...

Pulled out a banana yellow Sailor 1911 (L) with 14K Music/Stub nib -- older generation (ca 2004) pen having the Sailor anchor logo embedded under clear plastic at the end of the cap. Loaded with Colorverse Photon.

Today's just another standard Monday at work.

The primary pen is the Pilot Metro (Noodlers Air Corps Blue-Black) with the note-taking being done with the Pilot Plumix (Diamine Ancient Copper)

Platinum Celluloid Kingyo that I bought long time ago.

I took me 1 hour to clean the pen and adjust the ink a bit before it can write as normal again. My maintenance routine is never good
