Emma - Rohrer & Klingner Sketch Ink

Wow!

I had seen the sketch inks, too, but until now I thought they were for dip pens only!

Now I regret not ordering any with the R+K inks I just received.

I'm always looking for fountain pen inks that are resistant to sunlight and water!

I'll keep an eye on them!

Also, what are the differences between the "SketchINK" family of inks and R&K's "Dokumentus" line (which are also waterproof)?

One difference is, the dokumentus has the DIN certification.

Emma looks similar to Alt-Goldgrün in R&K's standard line of inks. It would be interesting to see a sample comparing the two.

Alt-Goldgrun and sketchINK Emma, though similar, are slightly different colours it seems to me (just from looking at pics online lol, not in person; sorry). Alt-Goldgrun is noticably brighter than Emma, but a wetter nib and the like might change that.

I think, the Dokumentus line of inks conform to archival standards; DIN ISO 12757-2 according to R&K's website. And there's no mention of them having nano-pigments to help with the water resistance. SketchINKs meanwhile have nano-pigments in them, but no guarentee for fade-resistance and all else that comes with archival inks.

Anyone got any experience of sketchINK Emma fading? Do nano-particle inks fade, hehe~?
