northstar, stunning portrait!

Today I've used my Faber-Castell Loom extensively. This is an old picture, don't worry I've wiped off the excess ink.

Thank you SoulSamurai, yes that red is from the ink and is what is known as "Sheen", the Penman Sapphire is known for its beautiful red sheen.

Well, I now have a new ink on my shopping list!

Hello again SoulSamurai, this ink is on so many people's shopping list, but sadly its a discontinued ink and very rare, many (including myself) consider it the ultimate blue.

Here is a thread related to PPS

Best regards.

Discontinued? That's very unfortunate. Oh well, there's enough beautiful inks out there to keep me busy. Thanks for the info and the link.

Lovely pen . I have ordered some Calligraphy stuffs. That includes few Oblique holders and strait holders and few Cristal Glass pens. I have chosen the cheaper ones as I know nothing about Calligraphy pens. They are all ordered after my own research and the positive feedback from people who really use them. I like this pen and it looks a good quality pen how dose it write? Is this one set for only one nib or can be used on several nibs?

First, thank you :D

You don't need an expensive oblique holder to write well. As long as it fits your hand it would work perfectly. Many of them, you could adjust the flange (the part that holds the nibs) so it could adjust to your writing style.

My previous nib holder was too thick for me so I decided to get this one because it is thinner and also very pretty :)

This one was tuned to hold the Leonardt EF Principal, but I could accept other nibs, such as the Hunt 101 and anything similar in style.
