I've been writing with this dainty but solid little thing since it arrived a few days ago.

After a past poor experience with a Sport, this has totally restored my belief in Kaweco and I feel no remorse about breaking my "No Pens This Year" vow . . .🙄

Kaweco Elegance, F nib

And what s great capture of harmony this is.

At first glance, two classic pens, black and white, one of them with a clear 1950's Europe vibe...

But then... Who shrank the nib?

Strangely it doesn't bother me, the nib size somehow works with the rest of the design; but then, another surprise...

It has a clear filling button. And there's a third surprise I can't show: it's an accordion filler. Very nice pen, makes Vert Empire come out light, consistently, without starting problems. It's a Bayard le 4 with an 18c nib.

Now for the other one...

A Geha Goldschwinge 725, one of those pens I thought I would never get. I am slowly nursing it back to life, I'm on its third cleaning, ink has been flowing more and more freely; seems to get along with Blood Orange. Sold as an OB, it seems to write more like an OM or even OF; it's also my first oblique nib, not sure if needs to be rotated a little to find the sweet spot, but at least it doesn't hinder my writing and is perfectly smooth.

It's fair to say that my Pilot Namiki Falcon SF owes me absolutely nothing. I ADORE this pen.

(Ink is my "Teeling" mix . . . in an Edelstein bottle)

I was following the streaming news on the PC last night and thoughtlessly doodling at the same time.

I actually did not realize this came out until I sort of completed the circle...

The pen in use is a Kaweco Dia II with an upgraded 076 Bock nib.
