Montegrappa NeroUno Linea inked with Omas black. Ive had this pen shelved for a while. Not sure why. It really sparkles in the light.

Today I’ve only used my trusty old Black with silver details Jinhao 159 medium nib (while a series of TWSBI’s are waiting, inked).

I'm using a Dasi Superflex at work.

Dasi are an Australian brand and stopped making pens in 1976... yet I bought mine from a local pen shop in 2003. An email from the son of the bloke who started Dasi suggests it might have been NOS. Nice pen though.

That’s a nice line right there! Is that a 1.5mm Jowo? I have a 1.1mm but it’s not nearly as crisp as your 1.5mm.

Parker 45, Y (OF) nib, with Califolio Gris de Payne.

Thought I was going to have to put the Noodler's Charlie with Noodler's Blue Ghost into use earlier today -- things went wonky when I tried to log on (got this weird error message saying my password was wrong, and thought I was going to have to figure out a new one -- and then write it down in my password notebook.... :-( ). And then out of the blue, things just worked fine again.... Go figure.

Today Ive used 2 of my pens: a Namisu Orion Aluminum and a Bulow X750 (a rebranded Jinhao X750).

Cheap Chinese pens are good, too.

Bought this pen a long time ago, never really bonded with it, and gave it away a few years ago. Then I forgot about all about it. Yesterday it found its way back to me. I immediately cleaned it, brought it back into shape and used it for a while at work today. It's got a 585 14k nib.

_Any_ kind of downward pressure will make this nib very scratchy. When I ease up on it, it writes quite nicely except on smooth paper, on which it has severe skipping issues. This made the pen unusable with my Foray notebook. On less-smooth paper and when handled with a feather-light touch, it writes beautifully (though compared to all my other pens, the nib produces significantly more sound). It's quite a wet nib, so I might have to resort to a somewhat drier ink. Perhaps some experimentation with different inks will also reduce the skipping issue on coated paper.

This pen is better than I remember it to be, which is a pleasant surprise.

Montblanc 164R. I think I have finally become tired if finding the sweet spot on the fountain pens. I am turning for a while to some nice ballpoints. Old eyes, lining up the nib is too much hassle.

If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper!
