Today's pens are:

TWSBI Classic Turquoise (M) - Monteverde Fireopal

TWSBI Eco Clear (M) - Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel

Lamy LX Gold (M) - Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki Shikibu

Pilot Metropolitan Purple (1.0) - Diamine Flamingo Pink

Jinhao x750 Copper ( B) - Diamine Ancient Copper

I like using medium nibs because I write small which would really suit a fine or extra fine, but a medium is usually wet enough to show off the ink properties without making my writing illegible.

Just realised after using an Edison Herald in cracked ice for about an hour taking notes that I had taken it straight from the box, new, filled it, and used it, without flushing - and it wrote beautifully, with no hard starts, no skips, while I was on the phone doing quite an important interview. Testament to Edison's quality!

(I did have a Platinum 3776 filled and ready to go - but didn't need to use it)

Too many pens, too little time!

My green-stripe M300, filled with Stipula Dark Blue that arrived yesterday. Great color and the perfect dryness for a wet Pelikan, just like the Saffron.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Today is Eyedropper Day!

I converted four Nemosine Singularity Pens to Eyedroppers. Much to my surprise it was very easy. So far none have leaked or cracked. Little by little this Newbie is inching along!
