Cross Century with 18k broad nib. Filled with Kobe Maya Lapis (using an old ink cartridge).

Absolutely perfect pen. Now I just need a converter.

I always have two pens inked up. One of them is always a Jinhao x750 (which I got really lucky with since the nib on mine is very smooth) and the other one is either a Pilot Metropolitan or a Sheaffer Prelude.

Omas 556/S with Montblanc Irish Green.

It is one of two Omas 556 I purchased recently. The cheaper is plain black with some bite marks, the more expensive a lovely grey pattern in externally impeccable condition. The cheaper worked out of the package given only a little silicone grease for the piston. The more expensive was locked rigid in section and piston. I am progressing (with caution & difficulty) on bringing the latter back to working life. Advertised condition can be very much in the external appearance, and whether it appears to be NOS.

Withal, the black one writes very nicely, with some flexibility in the fine nib. The grey is EF. Assuming I make it through the second phase of overhaul, I will try the same ink for comparison. I like the ink. :)
