What Pens Are You Using Today 2018

So far today, I am using my Mabie Todd Swan Eternal #4 nib with Visconti Bordeaux ink.

Also finishing a load of Pelikan Royal Blue in the Sheaffer's Craftsman with 14k gold #23 fine nib.

A Lamy LX with .8 stub nib is waiting to be filled, most likely with Noodler's Burgundy.

I have several pens in my bag today. Probably the most used will be the Pilot VP and Pilot VP Decimo (super convenient for notetaking). I also have an engraved Cross Century, a Sheaffer gold-electroplated white dot pen, a Stylomine 303, two Muji aluminum pens (full and pocket), and an old lever-filling, promotional, "Compton Gravy Salt" pen with an broad (italic?) nib.

Today I have used a Jinhao 992 (Diamine Imperial Blue), Lamy Safari (Diamine Imperial Purple) and a Hero 7022 (Lamy Black) that does not work properly.

Sheaffer Imperial II Deluxe with KWZ IG Turquoise, nice to have it back in a pen again!

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

Doing too much with too many, but so far I have inked up:

-Aurora Idea in green and running Aurora Black, and

-Pilot Falcon SF with Namiki Black for all that correspondence I'm catching up with.

-Nemosine Singularity .6 stub running Generals of the Armies, color keyed to the birthday card thank-you notes my 12-year old is writing.

-Conklin Duragraph Cracked Ice 1.1 Stub 'cause it's just so damned pretty, running Lexington Gray because it looks, in my watercolor sketchbook, like I'm drawing with a soft pencil.

-Noodler's Konrad December 25th Flex with Heart of Darkness for drawing all those New Yorker-styled backgrounds I have to have done by this week.

-Duelling Jinhao 992's with Apache Sunset and Monteverde Fireopal, just because they make me happy even if just scribbling.

-Ohto Tasche black M running Borealis Black, set in my jacket pocket clipped to a tiny Apica notebook for jotting. Call me an old Fart, but it's still faster than thumb typing into my darned phone.

SHEESH! Am I a NUT or WHAT??? At least 3 of these are close to empty and at time to rotate out of circulation, but that doesnt made me any less self-conscious when laying out the ugly truth before my own eyes. Thanks a lot, FPN!!!

Just add an F at the beginning, and any Art stinks.

I have owned this pen for many years and love writing with it. I believe that it is National brand with a Gold Bond 14k Nib. No other markings or impressions. Reddish brown wood grain like barrel and cap. Lever fill.

All day, I've been writing with my brand new Pelikan M805 stresemann. First it was inked with Pelikan Edelstein Topaz ink, but now it has Platinum Blue - black ink which is more ...appropriate for this great pen

Wing Sung 3008 with a Lamy medium nib - Sailor Souten

Wing Sung 3008 with a Lamy 1.1 nib - Sailor Kin-Mokusei

Lamy Safari fine - Sailor Chu-Shu

Platinum #3776 Century - Sailor Rikyu-Cha

I forced myself to not use my Safaris for a month or so, and now that I inked one up again, I completely fell in love with it again . If it had a screw cap it would be the perfect pen for me.
