What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2018

Grr... got my "like new" 144 and it's a disaster! OK -- dried ink, I can deal with that. But in the course of cleaning it, I found that the end of the pen is broken in several places and the tines of the nib are horribly misaligned.

Oh dear, that's bad.

I hope you can return it...

Jens

Hi,

I'm waiting for a Mabie Todd Swan 0160.

Condition is quite bad and the sac is missing, but getting old Swans back to life is fun.

Can't wait to see the nib writing...

Hey!

Where did you order it from? Good value?

A Platinum #3776 with the 'Koi' finish, and a broad nib.

:)

It's coming from Japan, so when all the duties and fees are paid, the pen has sort of lost any 'good value' status. :)

Waiting for my 1st Esterbrook. A 40s copper J model thats prolly going to need a little repair/maintainence work? I believe it has an EF nib which has to go. So, I also have a nos medium nib on the way, and a few #16 sacs. Following a few tuts posted on the forum here should help me along the way to get it working OK once again: Fingers Xd....

It arrived this afternoon & the EF nib def has to go.

I've had two Esterbrooks through my hands and I loved them but they were two small for me... I'm looking for bigger ones. The pattern and colour on yours is gorgeous, isn't it?!

And in case you didn't know, you can swap out the nibs with old Osmiroid ones too, some Burnham ones and one or two other makers.

I had been waiting for my ''Sailor HighAce Neo - Blue - Fine'' fountain pen for quite some time with no tracking. I'm happy that it recently reached home safe and sound.

The HighAce Neo is my trusted EF nib. Apart from the wacky balance, it's a great pen.

Anyway, been waiting a month for a Moonman M2 though I opted for eParcel shipping, which usually arrives in two weeks. Wondering where the pen might be now...

I really liked the pen as well, in fact especially how light it feels in the hand :)

I hope you'll receive your Moonman M2 soon RoyalBlueNotebooks!

Luckily, yes. the return was pretty easy. I should have known there was an issue when the price was too good to be true! But now I "need" a black 144 or 145!!!
