What Pen Are You Waiting For In The Mail 2018

The Pilot 912, with music nib arrived yesterday. The music nib feels delicate. The triple tines click quietly as I write. There is not as much line variation as I expected. It is a wet writer. But, I write quickly and the feed does not keep up. The music nib seems quite flexible. I am not comfortable flexing it much. It is a very light touch. I have filled it with Asa Gao. In this pen, that ink is not as sarurated as in any of my other pens (mostly Pelikan). I love the feel, and the shape. I wish it held more ink. I look forward to the same pen arriving tomorrow with a BB nib. I believe that nib will seem more substantial. My returning Omas with its new nib may arrive tomorrow. So excited!

Received the Pilot Custom 912, with BB nib, came yesterday. This nib is significantly more substantial than the 912 with Music nib I received earlier in the week. The feed keeps up relatively well with this gusher nib, unlike the music nib. My only complaint is that the BB nib is too round. This nib could use some Pendleton Brown handy work, right after I use up this fill of Kon-Peki.

Beautiful looking pens AGxM

I’m waiting impatiently for my Pelikan M120 in Iconic Blue. The delay is due to the batch of Monteverde “Noir” inks I ordered at the same time.

A couple of Benu Briolette. Can't wait to get these quirky n fun pens in hand. Along a more serious tone, a Ducale Mare is making its way toward its new home.

A few weeks ago, my wife picked up my Vanishing Point and fell in love with it (her first fountain pen) so I let her keep it. I ordered her a Karas Kustoms Ink in pink along with a bright Nock Sinclair and some Iroshizuku Tsutsuji. I can't wait to surprise her with them this weekend. I think she will be over the moon about them.

"Why me?"
"That is a very Earthling question to ask, Mr. Pilgrim. Why you? Why us for that matter? Why anything? Because this moment simply is. Have you ever seen bugs trapped in amber?"
"Yes."

"Well, here we are, Mr. Pilgrim, trapped in the amber of this moment. There is no why."

Yesterday I ordered a Pilot Custom 845 <F>. It's coming to me from Japan by express shipping, so I hope not to have to wait too long for it.

Ink 'em if you got 'em!

I have ordered a bunch of Calligraphy Stuffs. That includes several general Nib holders and several "Oblique pen holders " and then three Cristal Glass Calligraphy pens.

All I have to do is just wait patiently as they come from the eastern side of the globe  . I am ready for that wait and it is worthwhile not to worry until everything is thrown in through the door hole .

I am not sure if a pen bought on a well known auction site counts as found in the wild, but it had turned up in a desk drawer.

It looks like a Parker chased BHR button filler with a washer clip. It looks a bit like a 23 1/2 Jack Knife; the nib says PARKER CANADA 2 C. I look forward to trying to find out what it is!

A Platinum 3776, with SF nib. It last appeared in Japan Post tracking March 31. I hope it has traveled a lot of miles before it shows up on tracking again. I also have a new Omas nib on my Omas Paragon. Unfortunately, it has been missing for 15 days. Neither seller, or USPS have any idea.

Still waiting for a Montblanc Blue Hour LeGrand with an OM nib, ordered on 12/30/17. Even my Heritage 1914 OBB and my 149 Platinum with OBBB didn't take this long.

I'm on vacation and after viewing a lot of reviews/blogs I went on a shopping spree.

So now I'm waiting for a Platinum 3776 Century Bourgogne, a Jinhao x450 (green), a Jinhao x750 (gdeep red) and a Conklin Duragraph (Forest Green).

At least the Platinum Preppy arrived yesterday 8-)

Warning: Watching videos from gouletpens, thepenhabit, sbrebrown, goumetpens etc. may result in an increased shopping activity 8-)
