And the wait is no more! :D Although I forgot to check the mail until hours after it came.

Also got a bottle of Namiki Black for the husband for the VP I gave him (although he's still got some ink in the pen, from the cartridge that came with the Decimo I got, when I swapped nib assemblies between the two pens, and some ink left in the sample vial); a couple of packets of empty sample vials, and another ink vial tray.

Hmm. I'm gonna have to put the pen next to my dark red/burgundy Vector and see how different the colors actually are....

I bought another Pilot Metro, because why not? And I'm kinda apprehensive of another price increase..

I have a JDM Pilot Custom 823 (F) Smoke/Black that has been en route to me for 3 weeks and still is coming... no idea when it will show. I wanted to hold out for the Namiki Emperor but too impatient to wait for months and months so this morning pulled the trigger on a Sailor KOP Pro Gear Black/Rhodium (-B-)... that will take a month to arrive. This morning I had a TWSBI Bold nib show up (was not supposed to be here until Tuesday)... I was having issues with my (M) nib with my TWSBI 580AL going 3-4 pages slowly starving and starting to skip. The Broad nib so far has been fantastic. Broad really seems to be the TWSBI nib size with the fewest complaints/defects.

I'm currently waiting for a pair of black Conway Stewarts, both vintage models, a #77 with a fine Duro point and The 'Empire' Pen #46 with an oblique warranted medium/broad point, which I think is from the 1930s.

All I know is that they are a touch obscure, compared to other C.S models, due to their sizes. If anyone could tell me a little more about the 'Empire' pen, or indeed the #77, I would be most grateful.

By sometime next week I'll be introducing the two aforementioned pens to the other Conway Stewarts I own, an 85L in rose and gold marble and a 55, also in black!

Hopefully I'll get round to showcasing them soon, providing I work out how to post images! (if anybody knows how to do that, feel free to enlighten the technically inept!).

Black Faber Castell Ambition. Been wanting this pen for a while. I love good snap caps, and I love the Faber Castell nibs.

2 FPR Himalaya that I almost forgot arrived today, surprise! Real beautiful material (one is XF, other is a stub). Surprised by the extra fine, better than I expected.

Sterling silver Grifos Pen and the city with a gold stub. I hope this pen is as cool in person as the pictures would leave me to believe.

I'm waiting for a Pelikan M805. Most probably will be the black one with a fine nib. I'm also considering the stresemann, but since I already have a green striated, I don't think I'm getting (for now) another one with stripes...

I'm waiting for a Wahl-Eversharp "Wild" from the Magnificent Seven. I've paired my collection down to work horses (from about 40 pens to 12) and couldn't resist. I hope it's as good as it sounds.

I had never heard of the brand before and stumbled on it. Couldn’t get it out of my head and the deal on it was just too good so I went for it. I really really hope the pen looks this good in person. The pattern is very different. I can’t wait for it to get here!

Not sure if I already posted this but a Montegrappa Fortuna Blue Blazer in broad coming in any day now. Im super excited about that finish! It looks freakin amazing in pictures! Also I think this Fortuna has a JoWo nib instead of a Bock. Im really confused because all other Bock nibs Ive had have been great except for all of the many Fortuna pens I have. My only JoWo nib bought aftermarket was really scratchy. Anything could happen with this new Fortuna nib sounds like!

Would this by any chance be from the the Goulet Pen Company? I would be interested in knowing how it turns out to be!

I went with Goldspot on this order. They had a $25 off coupon going with a free Pilot Varsity and some free notebooks. I've been meaning to pick up a Varsity for about a year now but just kept forgetting to add one to any of my other orders. I'm honestly pretty excited to try it out but I'll be sure to post about the Montegrappa when it comes in :)

My Dollar 717i 10-pack has finally, finally arrived. Now I've got more pens than I have inks.

They seem sturdy and functional so far.

A piston-filler is a dangerous thing to leave in the hands of a fidgeter!

I have a 717i that someone gave me in trade a couple of years ago. For being a really cheap pen with a plastic feed it isn't a bad writer, although it does have a tendency to need to have the piston moved up at regular intervals.

I went to the Post's official website to check on my Wing Sung 601.... And it says "Item Delivered."

Welp.

Goodbye, dear pen.

EDIT: She signed in my stead but the pen is here! :D

Stylomine 303 and Gold Starry Art Deco (model was not specified but it's a beautiful grey striped/hatched? piston filling pen with a star-patterned gold band and a ring top). What can I say? I have a special place in my heart for vintage French pens.
