Good job and I’m in awe of your patience and persistence.

Thanks! I'm guessing strathmore paper will be easier and faster because the paper is thicker and easier to handle. :) With tomoe river paper, you have to go extra slow not to crumple the paper while transferring it.

I recently bought a pad of Campus Report Pad B5. It is smooth and thin paper, pretty similar to Tomoe River 52 gsm. According to the JetPens website, the weight of Campus Report Pad paper is only 50gsm, lighter than Tomoe River. However, when I tried running the Campus through a laser jet printer, it worked fine, whereas I have the same problems with wrinkling and jamming that most other people have with TR. After some research, the stiffness of paper is a well studied characteristic, and there are elaborate standardized tests for quantifying this. My guess is that TR, which flops like a wet noodle, may have less stiffness than the CRP, and this, rather than the weight of the paper, may be a key factor in how it performs in a printer. Any experts in the paper industry out there who could comment further on this?
