I have several original Akkerman bottles that hold 150ml. I wish they still sold that size.

Migo, what do you do with all that ink? Use it in eyedroppers? Watercolors?

I snagged a bottle yesterday. Ordinarily I wouldn't buy any more ink, but I love browns and I find SBRE to be quite droll.

I looked for this ink on Anderson Pens website a few hours after seeing Stephen’s YouTube announcement. It was sold out. But they had a “notify me when available” button. I clicked on it and expected to hear back in early 2018. Then a week later I got an email saying it was in stock. I dropped everything and quickly ordered a bottle, it should be here tomorrow!

 

Yes, $45 for 120 ml is a lot, but I’m going to put it in my Homo Sapiens Bronze Age, which should be a good match, and I don’t have any problem giving a little back to Stephen for all his help over the years.

If anyone else is curious, It looks like they can ship to the US and they don't charge VAT, though the shipping fees are 50E

Ancient Copper is something I have, and so I will pass on the SBRE Brown.

More similar to Diamine Ochre than Ancient Copper. AC is more red. I just reviewed SBRE Brown ink on here.
