Rhodia Paper Change?

Last week I purchased a new large Rhodia Dotpad. I've used and loved Rhodia for many years so was utterly shocked to find that the paper does not support fountain pens well-even using dry writers I've had bleed-through and lots of shadowing/see through...although some pages are ok. The paper feels thinner also.

Did I miss news about this? Is it a well-known change?

I haven't noticed any change in my dotpads. Can others confirm?

It might help to know which size (the back should have the number) and what store. I haven't purchased anything other than A5 recently - they're normal.
