Wonderful review! Thank you for taking so much time for this!

Waterman inks are some of the finest I have used. I use the blues (Serenity and Inspired) as my "standard" for determining pen performance. Honestly, though, I have never used Absolute Brown. Is it dry, like many browns are?

Planning on picking up a Waterman Carene wth the factory stub nib - in what’s called Amber. The Amber is a mottled red-brown that I’m thinking would be great with this ink. One online review of the Carene I saw used this ink...but I never trust online colors. Still...seems like a match.

Maybe it is the Pelikan where it now sits, but I am finding it wet. I have previously used its forebear, Havana, extensively in a Waterman pen without a problem. Waterman nibs run a little on the drier side,
