I finished a fill of Deep Sea just yesterday evening. I have marked it as one of my favourite Robert Oster inks, among the half dozen I have from his catalogue of billions and billions. I find it better on paper than I am seeing here on the monitor, though the colour is true enough.

Deep Sea's a favourite of mine too. Deep, beautiful colour, well behaved ink.

However no water resistance at all.

To add to Jan2016's review, I had posted this in the 'art gallery' thread some time back - all done with Deep Sea. It shows how the ink behaves on drawing paper, in pen (Delta M 'fusion' nib) and on brush - pure and diluted.

I didn't have time to do Fire and Ice but it is on the list. Now with the holidays coming I am a little bit short on time, but my next review I will do the Fire and Ice.

Great, Thanks. I have the Fire and Ice so I am interested to see how they compare. I have noticed Robert Oster makes several inks that have twins like Bondi Blue and Blue Water Ice.

Nice artwork!

Too much green on the blue for me, though... Or is it too much blue on the green? Oh well.

Thanks for another nice review, love them!

I really like the look of this. Never had an Oster ink before so I feel a purchase coming imminently.
