Nice Finding From Melbourne Pen Show 2017

We went to the Pen Show on Sunday and found this nice little Montblanc 25 in Coral red colour:

I tried to inked it up at home. Surprisingly the ink sac works OK even it looks like 50+ years old.

the nib is definitely Extra Fine which matches the imprint from the knob. it writes a bit scratchy with little line variation. will post more photos later. cheers.

Question: does this pen date from the 1930s?

Yeah, it's a No. 25, made between 1930 and 1934 when Montblanc was still using hard rubber for its pens.

Vintage MBs are really wonderful writers and they're classic designs. That's a very nice specimen and a great find!
