Can someone give me a range of prices that would be fair for a Pelikan 200 Telekom? By fair I mean what are they selling for now.?

Don't think I know this pen. Is it modern or vintage?

Picture would do nice. Is it just engraved Telecom, or is there more?

Just engraved, less, than plain........unless one is into collecting telephone items....it would be like having a name on it. Worth 10% less than a normal one.

It's a special M200 with magenta marbling made for Deutsche Telecom (T-Mobile parent). Sargetalon has one I believe. I think he has done a post about them on thepelikansperch.com as well.

Missing-pen.de had one for sale a while back. I think it was maybe $279 or thereabouts, iirc.

The pen is from 1994 I believe, and sargetalon has a good article about them. I love that pen and I wish Pelikan would use a material like that again. Think of the possibilities for two color marbles :puddle:

I haven't seen a lot of them for sale lately, which may explain why the price is so high. If you have to have it, just go for it and move on. If you are looking for a "reasonable price"...and you aren't in a hurry... maybe wait. For this pen though, they don't come up often enough for real "price discovery". I paid $170USD a bit over a year ago, and mine had a Pelikan cap rather than a Telekom cap (which I preferred).

There are more than a few Pelikans you will have to make this decision on :D Good luck with whatever you decide.

Yes, the one pictured says Pelikan and Germany on the cap ring. Thanks for pointing that out.

Larry, were you asking because you have one you'd like to sell or you're interested in buying one?

Great information. I was looking to buy one, but I see they are out of my comfort zone. I do like it though.

Blessed is the man who says “What need have I for such an extravegence?” and feels not the need to own it at any price.
