...121SKD Desk Pen, 5SKD Desk Pen...missing the hard-to-find 74SKD Desk Pen....

The first two are in the photo. What distinguishes the 74SKD? I ask because there happens to be a black conical nib Snorkel desk pen lacking its base in a local antiques co-op.

Agreed that ding removal was very good. I would like to know who did such a good job.

I do not yet have a Music nib. I have had the opportunity to buy them, but they have been more money than I am willing to pay for one. Congratulations on yours, Ricardo!

I did the job!

Please, check my website http://www.dinastiadascanetas.com.br/rest/. There are some examples of my job. I repair fountain pens since 2008 and I LOVE TO REPAIR SHEFFER. Unfortunately, it's only avaliable in portuguese yet.

Thank you Brian!

I paid just 75 USD for this pen with music nib. This nib is one of my favorites.

Thanks! Im not sure the 74SKD actually ever existed.

FredRydr, the 74SKD should have the open two-tone nib, non white dot.

Gday Brian.

I also had my doubts about the 74SKD having looked for one on eBay for the last few years.

However, the Sheaffer Service Manual and Model Identification, 1960 has a page for the 74SKD (see attached). The WES Library has this manual.

Regards. Mark
