Not a MB fan for many (probably bad) reasons, but following this thread compulsively. Very nice to see the feeds of the various nibs, thanks! and to see the small signature with the obbb gives a sense of how "small" it is. The work one can see on the nib looks amazing!

Tom, having two cats at home, I feel your loss. My son is growing up with them and I fear the day one of the cats will go.

Many thanks for the thread!

SO MUCH GOING ON IN THIS ONE THREAD, ITS LIKE A FORUM WITHIN A THREAD..!!

Hard to keep up with which is what, worse, a lot of valuable 'treasures' will be forever lost in cyberspace and not be 'google-able' :/

Nibs, POAs, LEs, Pets, New Purchases... ufff :)

Hi Tom,

the small signature nib looks stunning.

To my understanding the small signature nib is wider than a OBBB, correct? How come it looks so narrow...the OBBB is more like a big faaaat brush to my opinion.

This handwriting looks nothing like that though...it looks very nice :)

While there is a lot going on in this thread, it's one of the most active, most social, and most read on FPN, as well as including the most pictures outside of the Pen Photography forum.

If you really want your head to spin, try to keep up with the kids on Reddit's /r/fountainpens. They buy many inexpensive pens, mostly so they can buy more ink and paper, and try to figure out how to use these modern antique ink pens.

Google can search into FPN, so if there's text you're looking for in a post, Google should be able to find it.

chiefly used to facilitate the infection of idiocy and promote intellectual crime.

I thought some more about what you said and it seems to be that being a little lost is what I seem to want nowadays. There is a bit too much visibility in the present world, an almost needless flow of information which springs the desire for mindless consumption. Some treasures should probably stay lost ..

Using Noodlers Blue-Black on my Proust F has brought me as much joy as any MB LE ink. At 70 bucks a bottle, MB really in the insane mans territory. Edited by nishant

I've been wondering the same thing.

Because now I am thinking about getting a small signature. Haha. Oh boy. I need to stay away from this thread.

I was initially thinking of getting my Ludwig II changed to obb but the M bin is so nicely tuned. So I am thinking about taking my 149 hamburg Edition to the Shop to get it switched to an OBB...since I saw Toma pictures I am thinking about small signature now.

Your threads with photos of VIP events at the Dubai boutique are greatly welcomed by everyone.

Likewise the lovely images of very special nibs and pens you present in threads in the Montblanc Forum.

Thank you for stopping by here!

~ Namo:

I've read your posts in other sections of Fountain Pen Network.

It's a pleasure to read your post above, Thank you for visiting this thread.

Several FPN friends have recently encouraged me to post images of feeds.

I'd never considered that before, due to lack of experience.

The Bespoke Small Signature has exceeded my limited expectations.

While other nibs may well be more sophisticated, refined and rare, the Bespoke Small Signature more than meets my daily writing needs.

The loss of a treasured pet is crushing. To share simple pleasure day-by-day, then suddenly it's gone.

I hope that your son will enjoy many happy years with your cats.

With Appreciation,

Tom K.
