At different stages in one's life and career, different sorts of tools are appealing.

In every sense my three Montblanc Bespoke nibs have surpassed all expectations.

There has been nothing troubling about the process. The final product has been a delight to use as a daily writer in each case.

For me, at this age, Bespoke nibs are a great pleasure. Their superlative writing quality is exactly what I've sought.

 

I am glad you are thoroughly enjoying the nibs, which is the whole point of the 'bespoke' exercise. :thumbup:

Using them daily, is the only way to do justice to your wallet and the skill set of the nibmeisters at MB.

 

OTOH, another addition in 2019 to your arsenal... :puddle:

 

Maybe in the future, my needs will warrant the 'bespoke' touch.

 

Chunks of steamed chicken breast were a soothing post-bath peace offering.

He accepted the chicken with gusto!

Yubi Isn't Limited to Montblanc Inks

 

His inky tastes are multi branded. Coming up, Pilot/Sailor/Lamy... ;)

This weekend is the tipping point.

If all steps of the process seem in order, a fourth Bespoke Nib may be ordered.

For various reasons having no connection to Montblanc Hamburg's talented artisans, it would be a convoluted process.

Perhaps in late Winter 2019 there'll be another nib and pen of interest to present.

Yubi turns out to be a specialist collector, when it comes to inks.

He’s more enthralled by the boxes than by the bottles or the inks themselves.

I'd thought that Yubi was a Pekingese, yet he turns out to be a Boxer!

Terrific photo and samples. Hope you don't mind - I downloaded a photo of the nibs to study the nuances of their curves and tips. As drool worthy as they are, I think the differences in their feel and writing vs OTC available nibs are best appreciated by those with an experienced touch. I would like to touch the tip of that EEF with my finger! :lol:

By all means freely download anything posted. It's there to be scrutinized.

The Bespoke EEF nib is crafted with exquisite care, yet it is remarkably robust.

Thank you very much.

Any quality Montblanc fountain pen which is a reliable writer with character is a joy to use.

The petite 3-42 G pens are as meaningful to me as the Bespoke 149s.

I'll continue presenting pens and beauty during the second year of this thread.
