That Patron pen is gorgeous. All I could think of when I saw the crown engraving though was how cool it would be to have a wax seal made to match.

Thank you!

The pictures are quite blurry, it does not do it justice.

Edit: just re-uploaded the pictures.

That dog is a chick magnet.

Yubi does have a certain appeal to the fairer sex.

And he knows it!

Yubi is too cute for words......... That FACE!

Edited to add: I can't believe on a pen forum I come to the Montblanc thread looking for photos of a dog. :)

Yubi is flattered.

He says thank you with his characteristic ebullient tail-wagging.

Ask and ye shall receive. Yubi is so darling. There really should be a dedicated Yubi thread.

Actually, there should be a 2019 Yubi CALENDAR. Tom?

~ AlohaLani787:

Ha! That would be a cheerful project!

When it snows here, I'd better make a few “Yubi in Snow” images for Winter month calendar photos.

I guess I got carried away by the pens posted by Tom, Nishant, Zaddick and Ghost Plane!

Homer (OBB) with Montblanc Turquoise

149 (BB) with Kon-Peki - This writes much wider than my other BBs

144 (OB) with Montblanc Racing Green

Thank you for posting these images.

If we influenced you in this direction, that's good news.

All of the pens and handwriting samples are especially nice.

My first BB

Very glad to see your BB nib.

Does it write well for you?

If it suits your handwriting, that's a major plus.

Thank you for posting the image here.

My Patron of Art just arrived! :)

Pictures of Steinway 4810 will follow up later on.

Thank you for posting such excellent images!

The details shown in each photo are impressive.

The final photo has a reflection of the cap which is especially pleasing.

I hope that your new Patron of Art Ludwig II will be an outstanding writer for you.

... but it knows how to use a needlepoint. :-)

Nice picture indeed, Tom.

Best

Jens

~ Hi, Jens!

Thank you very much!

The Graphium sarpedon butterfly on a pink zinnia was outside of the classroom building where I'd taught all morning.

The colors and vivid design of many butterflies remind me of Montblanc's fountain pens.

While I don't expect to live to see it, I'd love to see a butterfly on a Montblanc fountain pen nib.

Hmm... Maybe someday on a future Great Characters Giacomo Puccini pen?
