That's just plain adorable. Hi Yubi (from Theo)! Thanks for the huge smile Tom!

Lovely pic, Yubi is being a good friend.

I am unsure about pen friends, since he has not tasted any MB's. :D

Pen Friends

I'm stunned at Yubi's size in the second photo. He looks like such a little guy in the first photo, and I'm guessing he was only a puppy at the time that photo was taken. He is adorable with a face that cannot be ignored.

~ BillH:

Thank you so much!

For nearly two weeks I've had only limited Internet use.

Yubi has been a splendid comforter, caregiver and companion during convalescence.

Yubi sends his tail-wagging, bright-eyed best wishes to Theo in Rattlesnake Junction!

Yubi is 9 months old, with well-developed qualities.

During the past couple of weeks I wasn't ambulatory. Yubi adapted to the situation, regularly visiting the sofa where I was propped up on pillows.

His companionable qualities are striking. Displays of affection, unrelated to food, sustained me when I most needed it.

What a cheerful little Pekingese!

~ Shannon:

What a terrific handwriting sample!

Thank you for posting it.

The pairing of your F nib and the Infinite Grey ink is inspired.

The moderately paler shades of charcoal inks appeal to me. You've introduced an ink which I'd never seen.

With such pleasing writing, it's understandable that this nib and ink combination might see frequent use.

BTW: The nib shadow in the image is especially nice.

Looks to be very similar to golden yellow.

It's posted on the Montblanc China Web site, but not yet availiable for purchase.

What the connection linking swine and golden ink might be, I have no idea.

Yes, the second image definitely gives the impression that Yubi is a large Pekingese puppy.

Actually, he's petite. The second image was made by a visiting student using an iPhone at close range to Yubi.

It distorted the image to maximize Yubi and minimize the other subject...which is probably just as well.

Yubi is especially gentle, sweet-tempered and affectionate. My household is fortunate to have him scampering about.

~ While I was resting in bed, I occasionally turned on the computer and visited the FPN Montblanc Forum.

The post above appeared in a thread. It brought a smile as what Kalessin has explained is almost word-for-word what I've thought.

I enjoy the surprise of Montblanc marketing far more than I do any leaked information or images.

Thank you to Moderator Kalessin for clarifying this point.

I might be wrong, but I thought the pig is usually displayed as golden

Probably has to do with something like this...
