No. It is in your post quoting it, but not the original post.

Thank you very much for letting me know. It's this problem again...

Uh oh, I have just realised that I'm not waiting for any stationery. No pens, inks or paper, are in transit and There are no plans for outings to obtain such in person. I am letting myself down with this strange and unusual behaviour.

Are there any sales one should be looking at? Will there likely be any on Boxing Day?

Will work for pens...

Don't despair. It's not too late. Boxing Day sales about to hit - get ready to swoop.

@Misfit I better get it read then. It is something I have wanted since I first saw it on the Field Notes site in late spring.....  I have some family members who are big baseball fans. I think they may be getting it for a gift soon. I know that they would appreciate it.

I doing some end-or-year cleaning in my office today, and lying flat in the bottom of a filing cabinet, I (with positive surprise) happened across an unused package of A3-sized Tomoe River 52g paper (50 sheets).

Then come the obvious questions: why did I buy this, and what do I do with it (a question I am fairly sure I asked myself whenever I bought the paper, and, lacking a good answer, put it in the bottom of a file cabinet to be forgotten)?

I suppose I could use it to try and revive my sketching skills (I haven't sketched with ink in almost 40 years, and I wasn't that good at it anyway)

OR, I could fold the sheets, add a cover and make them into nice 100-sheet A4 notebook,

OR, I could wrote some crazy large letters

OR, I could make a few clients crazy by submitting to them hand drawn/written "A3 project reports", which would be a pain in the neck to scan and disseminate (A3 reports, if you are familiar with them, are often produced in Excel or Word, or similar tool, with electronic text, and graphics linked to tabulated data, which makes them somewhat manageable in the data-processing sense)

OR I am not sure what else I can do with this stuff.

Who has creative ideas on what there is to do with thin, liquid-ink-friendly, A3-sized paper?

I vote for crazy, large letters!

How about something to keep the stationary in? My Galen Leather Writer's Box just arrived!

make your own 200 sheet, 400 page TR paper A5 notebook.

Then fill it. Write, draw, sketch, paint, or whatever a new, empty notebook of that size invites you to do...

Um, cut it in half to make A4 paper out of it????

That is another practical idea, but 1.) I already have plenty of A4 TR 52g paper, and 2.) it doesn’t sound creative enough...

Thanks for the suggestion though!

I think that will be the fate of a few sheets, but I don’t know how many folks appreciate receiving letter on such large pieces of paper. I am also tempted in that case to divide the paper into columns like a newspaper and write column-wise.

Sounds like you are enjoying you Galen box! I have been watching the Galen Leather products for a while, and they look both nice and interesting, but I haven’t yet pulled the trigger on a purchase. Thanks for pushing me closer! That is a great looking box.

Also, if I am seeing correctly, you are a Pelikan and Kaweco fan, so I already know you have exquisite taste! 😛

Another good idea, but unfortunately I already have many A5 Notebooks waiting to be tasked. I am not sure another one is needed. On the other hand, A5 is probably my most used paper format, so it might be fun to create my own notebook in that size. I’ll keep it in mind.
