No, no! You won't make a killing, because you'll keep them all to yourself so that you can write the only surviving record of 'history' the way you see it.

Everybody and everything has its price.

You all have inspired me to doodle on the unused pages of my Hobonichi Cousin. I ended up using the weekly section only after a while. I needed the weekly lay out.

I have a paper hoarding illness, no question. Im certainly stocked up for the anticipated Polar Vortex in the Mortheastern US.

Enjoy your paper all!

I've been considering buying the Aqua Drops notebooks! How does the paper perform with fountain pen inks?

And how much do you think it can handle?

Can I use it for calligraphy exercises too? Mainly 1.5 stub but also one day, hopefully, a ruling pen?

I use aqua drops a lot and the paper is very good. But I use wet fine nibs generally. One of my fave products.

I am attempting a detox this year. My aim is to avoid buying ANY stationery items before 26 December 2019 (as I started on 26 Dec. 2018).

My Wishlists are growing by the day but hopefully I’ll resist. I’ll be ok avoiding the online traps but as for B&M stores, somehow, I need find a way to stay away. *I love the smell of paper in the morning (& the afternoon, evening and nighttime)*

I'm heading to Denver in a couple of days for a conference. Never been there, so I added a play day to the trip. I am so afraid I will accidentally find a stationery store. I did order holiday cards last week, but they were on sale and won't be used until November. Otherwise, I hope to avoid trouble - in the stationery department, at least. Now, I am looking for a particular boot store . . .

No-one ever said I avoided a challenge. ;-)

My thoughts are with you. I’m not buying any shoes/boots this year either and that’s as great a challenge for me as stationery. Gulp.

Going to a week-long conference next month so of course I'll need to purchase some notebooks specifically for the occasion even though I have a two drawers full.

No paper recently (sigh). Need to get someplace and check the stocks. Even if it is just Made in Brazil comp books......

Also need to check my stash of Tomoe River. I have an open pack of 100 sheets - think I have another, but need to check.

Come on Newjelan - I'm waiting to hear if you have already broken your New Year's resolution - it was a poor choice anyway.

Everytime I travel to my holiday home in NZ, more than 50% of my luggage weight is paper, notebooks and ink. (Pens dont weigh much). This is despite the fact I have a pretty good supply of these waiting for me.

Sorry inkypete, life has been manic. I am sad, and extremely ashamed, to say that I bought NOTHING in Muji except a scrubbing brush. So far, Ive managed to resist all temptation but my online Wishlists are more like a Magnus Opus.

Maybe, just maybe, the brush could be used to clean pens or nibs? Just sayin................

Hmmm... too late.

I’m going to Japan at the end of the year, so money saved will be money spent.

I have a Lamy fitted with the 1.5mm nib inked up. I’ll try to write up a sample and photograph both sides of a page. I haven’t used the notebook yet, but today was thinking about getting it and trying to open it on a strong flat surface.

Bought a Bond Travel Gear A5 Notebook for my conference because, of course, none of the plethora of notebooks I already had on hand were suitable.

Now I need to select my pens and inks...

Cannot believe how many times that happens - hundred plus notebooks on my shelf but not one suitable for a particular need so I have to buy more.
