I couldn't make up my mind so I just ordered Lion Airmail paper, more TR, Strathmore, and threw in a Rhodia pad, just because....

My fingers are always inky and I'm always looking for something new.  Interested in trading?  Contact me!

Did it to myself again. Two boxes of avery inkjet postcards (400 cards total), two Artlifting "This notebook changes lives." Cover art by Jeff Roysdon a5 notebooks, two Miquelrius 4 subject 4 color spiral notebooks with very smooth paper at a second hand shop. Got change back from a twenty for all of it. Actual value about $80.00 or more. There was a lot more related notebooks, pads etc, but I stopped myself from doing a lot more. It's paper!

Every time I think I have way too much stationery I read through this thread. You are all my inspiration.

I went to Office Depot just for the sales. Yes, it is sad, I forced my teenagers to switch to the TUL notebooks because the paper is awesome. Oh and the back to school version has more paper and is about half the cost.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Consider themselves lucky. I never liked those sale priced .10 spiral notebooks with thin paper and terrible wire spirals.

I bought 100 sheets of white Tomoe River paper this evening at pen club. We meet outside the one and only pen store here.

@amberleadavis I saw at the Office Depot site the ad for the week. It showed only student labeled Tul was on sale. Is more than that for Tul on sale?

You have to be the Superhero of Sales getting all those amazing paper goods on sale, so very often.

That Amazon PLUS program which sells certain products (like, um, a Rhodia Flying Spirit notebook for 4,19€ ) only as a *plus* product when you reach a treshold of 20€ with your order ... I dunno whether I should like it or not as I am finding myself adding stuff with most purchses now.

Alas, as long as there is still space on the shelves (above and behind my books *cough*) ...

I'll take that as no matter what store it is, the first place I walk to is the clearance section. I have seen people pick up items at full price when the same item is in clearance because the packaging was torn and greatly reduced price. Companies change the packaging so the old style packing goes to clearance.

I go to second hand stores like the Salvation Army several times a week. Yesterday there were two shopping carts full of high quality paper items and notebooks. I paid $3.00 per item. $18 versus $80 plus. I did tire of some of my Moleskine books (bought at reduced prices) and resold them to a used bookstore in town, right when students were coming back.

The student and teacher ones were on for buy one get one 50% off, but last week it was all TUL notebooks were 30% and next week they will be on sale again.

Found two more Artlifting notebooks.

New in package. $3.00 ea. These are heavy weight paper. Quality!

Artlifting empowers artists who are homeless or have disabilities. These were donated among piles of other stationary at the Salvation army. I had never heard of this notebook until now.

I hope you saw amberleadavis’ post before you did. Next week all Tul! I’m going to have to get there. I have a member’s reward of just over $7 I can use. There is a Tul item with 3 colors I’m wondering about. I suspect not leather but that is fine with me. I use a Levenger Circa junior with the almost clear covers (a sample package deal they have) to take on my parents’ medical appointments to take notes.

The flag stickers and ruler are other items I want to check out, plus the Tul limited edition Bright pens.

That’s a wonderful thing Airlifting is doing.
