I bought some Life Bank Paper to see if I like it as much as the Mitsubishi. I read that it shows off many ink properties really well, and doesn’t feather.

@Penguincollector, I've seen it displayed with a few inks on some of those Japanese inkster videos.  It's probably true!

That’s cool, glad to hear that! Thanks! 😊

Can't post them here but look for niki.notebook and colors&stationery.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I finally ordered some notebooks from Denik.

All are lined. The pen is new, and is a Levenger True Writer Purple Majesty with M nib.

Nice 👍😀 I'll be interested to hear how the Life Bank Paper works out.  What weight is it?

It is fountain pen friendly. I used a 1.1mm stub nib, and there might be a little show through but no bleeding.

It’s 84.9 gsm, according to Amazon. I tried it with one of my mica mixes, so when I get around to it, I’ll post something on it.  Elbow deep in my chore list lately, so I’m slacking on “publishing” my findings.

Feel like I am letting the team down. Dollars very tight in our house at the moment so no new pens or paper for a few months now. Might need counselling if I can't raise a few dollars to splurge.

@inkypete at least you have willpower. I need to stop the spending. Instead I make an offer on a pen on eBay, and it’s accepted. I need to start watching the budget too.

Mines not willpower - bit more serious than that. Spend while you can if you can.

I feel your pain - I have just retired and not at an economic level I would have chosen so the reality is that spending is being cut to the bone for me as well - good job I stocked up in case of an apocalypse a few years ago so lots of stock to draw from!

My Ouroboros Onionskin notebook is here! I actually picked it up from the remailer last thursday. Opened the package with the usual anticipation... and am saving putting a pen to it for a day when I need a moodboost. But it looks and feels perfect, the sheets very flat, nothing of that crinkling that you have to straighten out before you can write neatly... and they also provided a nice guidesheet.

Plus I got the bag @Stompie showed.😀

a fountain pen is physics in action... Proud member of the SuperPinks

Same here - I've done the maths and my stock of notebooks and paper etc will run dry in approx 26 years so I am not quite panicking yet. But there is nothing more exciting (at my age) than opening a box with a new notebook or pen inside.

This is me too, but not at retirement age.
