Bexley And Iron-Gall Inks

I'm considering buying a piston-filling Bexley Poseidon. I am interested in using iron-galll inks in it.

 

Does anyone know if it has metal parts inside that will corrode over time?

Hi,

 

I have four Bexley piston fillers. The piston rod is brass, it does not come into contact with the ink because the rubber plug at the end of the brass piston rod isolates the ink reservoir (and hence the ink) from that metal component. See picture of my disassembled Bexley 20th anniversary fountain pen.
