Diamine Autumn Oak - Compact Review

My bottle looks almost identical to Ochre in your scan.

Maybe it's seasonal? :P

I endeavour to be frank and truthful in what I write, show or otherwise present, when I relate my first-hand experiences that are not independently verifiable; and link to third-party content where I can, when I make a claim or refute a statement of fact in a thread. If there is something you can verify for yourself, I entreat you to do so, and judge for yourself what is right, correct, and valid. I may be wrong, and my position or say-so is no more authoritative and carries no more weight than anyone else's here.

Jan - thank you for sharing your sample. My bottle of this ink sits untouched because it is too dry BUT I have a pen that is too wet so I may try this again. I used to do formal reviews, but found that the reviews took quite a while and what I really wanted to see was a comparison (hence I started doing the CRVs) so that we could compare inks. When we did the PPS comparison - we compared over a hundred blues and even the same bottle of PPS was different depending on the paper and pen. Keep showing us your work. I like seeing it.

Oh, and I don't use fine or even medium nibs so I like seeing the insane nibs!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Very lovely and flashy color, thanks for sharing

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
