A Parker Eversharp Desk Set Ball Point Pen

Box says "A Division Of The Parker Pen Company" so it must be 1957 or after.

Does anyone have any experience with these? I have not seen one before

I have a somewhat similar pen in front of me right now. Mine is part of a two-pen Parker desk set that has a Parker 45-based fountain pen and a ballpoint. Mine have gold furniture and a gold ring at the mid section.

I have a pen and box that matches the one you show.

 

The styling is similar, but side by side, these are quite a bit shorter than the ballpoint desk pens made for the Parker 45 or late Parker 51 desk pen sets, but all do take a Jotter-style refill.

 

A Parker/Eversharp 1965 color brochure lists the pen as Model 006 - the Point *7 Desk Ball Pen. It was available separately for $1.49 or with your choice of a round plastic stand with a simple hole for the pen ($2.49) or either a square or oval black "crystal" stand with brass swivels ($6.95). Available in black, light blue and red.

 

There was a matching Point *7 Cartridge Desk Pen in the same line, topped off with the Parker 45-family removable nib. That's something I'm still looking for - it would be similar to the short version of the P45 desk pen barrel but with a short silver tail rather than the exaggerated long gold tail, and of course it might be red or blue, which I think would be a giveaway.
