Nice one. I've never tried this one, but I think I'm happy enough with Tokiwa-matsu.

I think Epinard is quite a bit darker than Tokiwa-matsu.

Not really. Side by side you *might* be able to tell them apart. But that's it, for all practical purposes they are almost identical. :P

Interesting (and good to know), because all the shots on my screen show Epinard as much darker. (I love it's dark murky green colour.)

Depending on ink flow, my wet writers will make it look very dark.

In any case... I am not the only one. Just saying that for all practical purposes they are very similar. With some pen/paper combination , I am sure you can make them look identical.

Well beyond discussing whether Epinard or Tokiwa-matsu is darker, I have a number of Sailor inks, especially bespoke, store-exclusive inks. Mr. Ishimaru is a fabulous ink maker, daresay, the best in the world today. The range, qualities, and loveliness of his inks are amazing. Worthy of song.

So I had a bunch of newer inks in pens when this thread came up. Only now am I posting my small contribution.

All hail Ishimaru-san! :notworthy1: :notworthy1: :notworthy1:

Sadly all these look different on my screen, but once I upload them to FPN the two greens look identical and the blue looks so dark it might as well be the same as the greens! I really wish FPN would stop trying to reduce the size of the images when they are uploaded, they only make them less than useful. :gaah: (Sorry for the rant.)
