Very flamboyant!

Hi Nibbler,

Well, that's me in a nutshell. :D

(don't go down with the ship, there's always hope - or rum)

This is true... I can always hope there is good rum. ;)

Be well and enjoy life. :)

Not tried that - looks gorgeous. Do you remember those t-shirts that changed colour with body temperature?

Sure do. Those Hypercolor shirts? They were fun.

Yeah, okay, but don't forget your mood rings.

They are still out there. I can't remember the name of them, but if you ever take a Caribbean cruise (not recommended at present or you may go down with the ship due to a hurricane) you will see them in every cruise port and every shack that sells souveners.

As much as I hate to say it, I'm on a massive RO River of Fire kick. Sure, my letters may smudge and the ocean may make my pages bleed (I'm hoping I find a chest somewhere I can store my pages to keep dry), but it reminds me of the East River in the late 80s. Aah, home.

I had to go look up River of Fire ink! Hadn't seen it before. Does it have some type of fantastic sheen/sparkle quality to it? Kind of looks a little flat in the swabs I just saw?

Diamine Orange.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

It was designed to be the spiritual successor to Robert Oster Fire and Ice. I found Fire and Ice to be a bit too sheen-y for everyday writing. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a sheen-loving monster, but Fire and Ice was pushing it, while something like Organics Nitrogen was just too much of a smear-fest, and only usable at home (at least for me).

River of Fire just does it for me. It's a STUNNING blueish-green (or, maybe, greenish-blue?) with a good amount of red sheen on the fringes. I can't say enough good things about it. If you'd like, I'm happy to post a photo of the swab I took a few weeks ago.

Anthony and I will organize everyone so that all the inks get saved.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Hi,

I'd take my Sterling Silver jeroboam of Pelikan Edelstein Topaz, scoop-up Members ParkerDuofold + displacermoose, then set course for the isle of PET.

I think there needs to be a regular clear out of longer-term forum members so that we newbies can have the discussions that you've already had several times. Some sort of cull - remember Logan's Run?

No more inks for you. And I don't want to be Soylent Green either.

If Soylent had some sheen, it would have been much more popular.

I would like to point out that despite threatening the more venerable members of this illustrious forum with the plank, I think it's far more likely that I myself would end up being the one teetering blindfolded at the point of a sword for my bad humour! Perhaps today I would have to chose Diamine Oxblood in penance. (or Beau Blue, which I would surely find difficult to live with for more than a day).

Has there ever been a 'film titles that should be inks' thread?

Does it matter what the island, real estate developers find with my sun-bleached bones ? Face it. Captain doesn't know whether the time frame is one year, or twenty years. Nobody is going to waste paper writing. I need it to build shelter . . . . . or start fire. I'm going to kill and eat the dumb captain, who got us here.

Are you going off registration date? If so, you've been on this ship a mighty long time my friend. Or are you looking at post count?
