Fountain Pen Network Snail Mail Collection

Hello everybody!

I'm so proud to announce that the Snail Mail Collection is back! Thank to Alejandro to have granted his place to me.

For those that want their snail to appear online in the Snail Mail Collections' site.

I keep this engagement with these rules:

  1. The main idea is having a place to send a snail letter to everyone on FPN. The contents' letters can be dedicated to FPNers, to the Grand Collector (me), or to both.
  2. All senders' addresses will not appear because I will remove them before publish the letters and envelopes.
  3. If you don't want web surfers see your real name, sign the letter with your FPN nickname. I will copy and paste it to the back envelope too.
  4. If you don't want to be published but want only a penpal, write it clearly, but consider I have not so much time for more penpals (I have now about 16, my real friends that live far from me) so my answer will come back to you not so immediately.
  5. Nobody will open the letters except me, because the destination is a P.O. Box (Postal Office Box, mm 145 x 290 x 400 ).
  6. To avoid different colours displaying, I scan the letters and envelops using my camera, a Canon PowerShot A510 (soon A570) with normal daylight, and custom white balance. I obtained the best results.
  7. I will tell my address only to FPN members that have to PM me. It doesn't matter which pen you will use, but it must be a fountain pen. You have to write the model and the ink you use, better if with paper brand too. You can use also more than one fountain pen for each letter.
  8. The url where to see yours and others Snail Mails, is: http://snailmail.netnemo.net.
  9. If you have some beautiful letters that you think can be published, PM me and we'll find a solution. That is not a immediately way to publish them because I have to see them before publishing in my site.
If you have questions, go ahead and PM me.

Thank you to all.

Edited to add what Alejandro remembered to me in post #2 of this thread.

Alejandro, thank you for other two letters, from jpolaski and sonia of past year.

Don't know why the system considers new also the other in your folder, maybe because it is changed the full acfrery index. By the way, Snail Mail Collections are growing up.

Thank you to all of you!

And pm me to have the P.O. Box address to write to the fpn and have the letter and envelopes published online as written in the rules of this thread.

I like how you re-organized the snail mail letter layouts - made it easier to find my letter. Thanks for posting my letter.
