Week #37 / 10 Sep: Faster (Drying), Higher (Sheen), Stronger (Shading) - 2017 Weekly Ink Project

This week, pick an ink to interpret the theme "colours of Olympics". Thanks evyxmsj for the idea!

As usual, don't forget to share with us your choice of ink, your writing, drawing, doodling or anything with the ink in this thread. You can take a photo, make a scan, or even better, write letters and CRV reviews (what is a CRV?) and mail them to the many ink pals here. You are welcome to check back on this thread even when we've gone past this week.

Click here to read more about this community project. Links to the two previous links can be found there too.

Thanks for the inspiration visvamitra :)

A good opportunity to tick off a few inks in one go by using the inside of an old Noodler's bottle lid and making quite a bit of mess on the desk . . .

NB Very surprised by how pleasant Quink Red is.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

OH, and even better water resistance from inks that you wouldn't think would be water resistant. I had to do washes when the ink was still wet because once it dried, it would not wash.
