To my eye, the tines are pushed too tightly together. If you look around FPN and/ or the internet, you will find instructions on how to (gently, just very, very slightly) spread the tines apart.

Regards, greg

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

My TWSBI 580 stub had the same problems until I spread the tines - to reveal very scratchy and sharp inner tines. Micromeshed them and created worse problems. This is not a well made pen in my opinion. Ink flow has problems too. I had to always prime the feed to saturate it to make it write consistenly but only for a few lines. I have stopped using the pen for a long time.

TWSBI: kindly spend your resources to take a look at the ink flow problems of your pens and Stub nibs. Do not come up with new appearances/designs until then.

If no changes are made to the engineering of Twsbi pens, I wouldnt buy another.
