Reading the other topic I had to check out this ink myself.

And I am happy I ordered two bottles, I like it! It is a very interesting ink.

And the name is very good, it looks like an ink you love or hate.... :-)

The chromo is very interesting, and in the swatch you see the light blue outlining.

In the writing there is also a lot going on.

And to top it off, it is an amazing ink for dip pens, I could write "Spinx of Black Quartz" with one dip! and you can see how wonderful the shades are from dark to very light.

I hope this review helps. For me, I am happy I tried the ink.

As alluded to in the other ink thread, my main disappointment is that it doesn't have the advertised properties. In the video uploaded by Mr Tardiff, the reactivity under black light was incredibly dramatic. It's not really evident. Washing the search gets a slight blue halo (which still doesn't respond to black light) and the color is s but more red, but not the cardinal red he advertised.

Ironically, Empire Red behaves exactly as expected for House Divided. What does that say about colonialism ;)

Jan, have you tried the black light? Is it as dramatic as Memory described?

The UV light does make it more interesting.
