Hello From Fountain Hills, Az, Usa

Greetings. I have ended up here several times via Google, so might as well join! I am a retired MD, long time user of a parker 45, which got me through med school note taking, and served until it fell from my pocket and got squashed by a car a few years back. My odyssey of refreshing old pens has led me into both coveting new (to me) pens, and to (finally) learning how to use and care for the old ones. Nice to be here!

Welcome to our little corner of the universe from a pen user in San Diego. I'm a fellow Parker 45 fan and also love Pelikans.

Hello and welcome to FPN from Cape Town, South Africa.

To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!

Welcome home. Pull up a stump and set a spell. I had to look up Fountain Hills only to find it didn't exist when I lived in Phoenix.

Welcome !

Me , Too ! Parker 45 fountain pens took me through college, as well. Mine did not get squashed by an automobile. One was crushed by a pregnant mare. Four were crushed in my back pocket. Still, I used a Parker 45 for the next five decades. They are still quite plentiful, so replacing yours should be easy. (Retiring soon, myself.)

My collection includes many vintage fountain pens. Using them is sometimes challenging, but always a joy.

Zum Augenblicke dürft ich sagen:
Verweile doch, du bist so schön !

Welcome from Scottsdale. I lived in Fountain Hills for a year when I first moved to AZ approx. 20 years ago. It's a great town. Fantastic place to retire for sure.

Thanks for all the kind greetings. I did not even consider the "Fountain Hills" name being so relevant to this group.

Being a "Mr. Fixit", I already have a garage full of old Lionel trains and coffee making and grinding appliances in every state of condition, from life support to fully restored/refurbished/repainted. So, now I have another, more space-friendly, old tech item to use, adore, refurbish, and just plain enjoy.

Hello, from Gilbert, AZ!

I would say that fountain pens are more space friendly. The bottles of ink that will pile up though.... Not as much. ;)
