8 Leather Pen Cases

My apology, fountainpagan, I misspelt the name of the case- it should be Jl Bussetto. I bought it at Kingdom Note, Tokyo. The workmanship with leather is just fantastic, because it seems like there are no seams in the case; it is just so well made. Similarly, the MB case was also made so that the seams are well hidden or polished out.

Actually I believe the correct spelling is "Il Bussetto" not "Jl Bussetto". I think you may have mistaken the upper-case "I" in script as used in the Il Bussetto logo (see picture below) as a "J". "Il" in Italian translates to "The" in English. I don't know what Bussetto means, but Bussett is a fairly common surname in the U.S., where I'm originally from.

While Im on the subject of Il Bussetto: Below is a link to the Il Bussetto 2-Pen Pouch. These are beautiful. They go for 73 Euros before tax, which seems fair given they are hand crafted in Milan, Italy. Below is the full description from the site, the key point is: "No seams and no visibile construction lines". I think "cuoio" leather refers to a thicker hide leather versus a thinner "pelle" or skin/glove leather.

Handmade on wooden form
Hand painted vegetable tanned "cuoio" leather
No seams and no visibile construction lines
For 2 pens

Measurements: 14,5x4,5xH2cm

Thank you Drone for pointing out the correct spelling of 'Il Bussetto' for me.

One more thing I need to point out is that these cases are made for small to medium size pens. I think a 149 would have a hard time getting in one of the compartments. If you can, try it before you buy.

Hi,

How did you get a 10-pen version of the Pilot Somes leather box? I am only aware of it having 5 slots and the bottom space not having slots.

Here are some views of the pen cases opened.
