Grandson Of Gerner Pen Co. Owner

Recommended Posts

I'm the grandson of the owner of Gerner Pen Company.

He had 100+ cigar boxes filled with parts (casings, nibs, etc.) in his Dorchester basement. Today, unfortunately, only a few dozen Gerner pins are in our possession.

Any history people could give me would be appreciated. I still use Gerner pen and pencils.

Thanks to this group for its existence. Although I now live in the American Midwest, I have great memories and fondness for the work Grandpa Gerner did...

Thanks for the greetings; I'll try to shoot some pics of what I have and post. I only have a couple of them at my home, as mom's got the rest.

Hello and welcome to FPN, from Cape Town South Africa.

To sit at one's table on a sunny morning, with four clear hours of uninterruptible security, plenty of nice white paper, and a [fountain] pen - that is true happiness!

I expect that your input will provoke many good discussions. I look forward to your ideas.

This name is new to me. What was your grandfather's full name ?
