I Have 12 late Parker Duofold Centennials (late 1980's into the 90's). All but one has a date code. They are very lightly marked and require a 10x magnifier to easily read. For REAL Parker Duofold collectors the 2006 published book "Parker Duofold" by David Shephard and Dan Zazove is almost required reading. It is excellent and I use it often for reference. Don't known if it still for sale as new... but I have seen them on Ebay.

I wanted to buy that book some time ago, but not easy to find !

Found at 400$ for used one, but for that price I'd buy another Duofold pen instead lol
