I've had a few True Blues over the years but never had one with great color. Love seeing these examples!

It's funny. If you'd asked me four or five years ago, I would have said that I absolutely wanted one of these. Now? Not so much. Lapis, OTOH (like the one on the first page of this thread...)? Oh yeah. Absolutely want.... As in: "WAAAANT! MUST HAAAAAVE!"

Now I just have to win the lottery.... The perils of having champagne tastes on a beer budget.

Hi, Folks!

I've had a really hard time finding a good example of the junior size True Blue, so here it is until I find a better one!

This is a Parker "Three-Fifty" in Modernistic Blue, also known as True Blue, junior size fountain pen c. 1929. This 4 1/2 inch long button filling fountain pen sold for $3.50 and the matching pencil sold for $3.00. It has gold filled trim, thought this example has heavy plating loss. It is also very discolored, not unusual with these pens. The barrel is stamped GEO. S. PARKER over JANESVILLE, WIs. next to the Lucky Curve banner next to FOUNTAIN PEN over U.S.A. PAT. 4-25-11. Note: the nib on this example is stamped PARKER over DUOFOLD over PEN over CANADA over 18 CT. and may be a replacement.

Thanks!
