Gold Filled Wahl Pen

I have this old Wahl pen in decent shape, which i don´t know much about, it´s about 11,8 cm long capped and has a size 4 nib, which is a nail, i would like to know how old it is and what the model is called.

It came with a box, and a propelling pencil ( which has some plating loss and dent in it ).

That is a nice Wahl!. The #4 nib is slightly unusual as most of them seem to be the smaller #2.

May we live, not by our fears but by our hopes; not by our words but by our deeds; not by our disappointments but by our dreams.

Thanks, i was hoping for a somewhat flexible nib, but this is the opposite, harder than a nail (but smooth though).

Another thing is that i believe that the section should have been metal as well as the body, so maybe it is a replacement.

The section is probably correct. Most of the Wahl metal pens have metal covered sections.

However, the console pattern has a red ripple section, and the Check/Unique pens seem to come with a black hard rubber section.

The pens this length have #2 or #4 nibs.

Nice pen.

I just won a ringtop in the Colunnade pattern, which I don't see too often. Nobody else wanted it! A little pricey but not outrageously so for a rare pen in decent shape.

Update: the pen arrived, and it's a beaut! Nice condition, new sac and an unexpectedly good nib. If the seller had thought to describe it I wouldn't have got it for the starting price.

Thanks. There's a gouge out of the section but the metal is in surprisingly good nick. Here's a picture:
