Twsbi 580Al Purchase - Help Needed

Hi FPNers!

 

I'm truly inclined to buy a TWSBI 580AL and need to know if the pen "fine" nib writes like a "regular" fine, a medium or an EF nib.

It's a JoWo nib & I find it writes as a regular fine. Definitely not like a medium.

 

I think the nibs they send out have improved over the years. The last three pens I've bought all came with excellent nibs - well adjusted for ink flow, not too smooth to be "skatey" across the paper but still with a nice sweet spot. (I like a little feedback).

It's going to write a nice thin ink line. Not as wide as a Pelikan Fine, but no where near as thin as a Sailor Fine. A nice middle of the road thin ink line.

I have a TWSBI Vac 700R with a fine nib. It writes like a fine but not as fine as a Japanese fine (Sailor, Pilot are finer)

I will go for the fine nib, but changed the pen to a Mini. :-)
