Pelikan P381 with Edelstein Sapphire cartridge. I loaded the pen with the Sapphire cartridge in 2014, used it for about a week and then mislaid it. In spite searching high and low I could not find the pen and resigned myself to the fact that I had dropped it somewhere. Sorting out my bedside cabinet yesterday and there was the pen. I thought that it would have dried out but it wrote perfectly with the cartridge still about quarter full. Nice end to the story.

What? But I heard in "the other thread" that Pelikans (and MBs) are just beautiful junk that don't write... :lticaptd:

I'm glad you found your pen.

My inked birds are:

M805 Ocean Swirl (M), with Edelstein Aquamarine

M800 Brown Tortoise (B ), with Pelikan 4001 Brilliant Brown

M200 Clear demo (M), with Edelstein Jade.

I have cleaned my M200 and cleaned the ink as Diamine Emrald green :) and now the green marble pen writes in green.

I have many more pens more than 15 inked  at the time.

Ibis with a smooth CN OM/F nib - Birmingham Pen Co. "Billy Eckstine Blues for Sale" blue

140 (green striated) with an EF/F nib - Birmingham Pen Co. "Southside Park Fern Moss" green

140 (black) with a CN OM nib - Pelikan 4001 Blue Black

140 (black) with a really really extra-fine extra fine springy nib - Diamine Eclipse

I like all four of these so much that I can hardly get through a paragraph without changing from one to the other.
