I am on an all Iroshizuku week:

M805 blue dunes, Ama-Iro

M101n red tortoise, Kon-Peki

M605 white transparent, 100th anniversary yellow

M620 Piazza Navona, Tsuki-yo

M205 olivine, kosumosu

400 brown tortoise, 100th anniversary pink

I like these wet inks in my Pelikans. Iroshizuku is my favorite line. They are wet yet fast drying.

M800 Burnt Orange and M101N Tortoise, both with Hero 232 (good properties including permanency, conservative color suitable for work - and cheap).

M205 F, Hisoku.

M600 F, Kon Peki.

400NN with a semi-flex Fine nib and a M620 Piazza Navona with a B nib custom-ground to a crisp cursive italic. I don't know if it counts, but I also have a custom-made Shawn Newton Knickerbocker with a M800 nib installed inked.

Parker Vac 51, Diamine Eau de Nile and Stipula ICCRI, Iroshizuku Ama-Iro. Both nibs are really smooth and very nice writers.

Heh, just bought a few vials of Eau de Nil and swapped it in to my Pelikan 400 Tortoise (BB). :) It is a lovely, lovely color in this wide and wet writer. Also inked...

  • Pelikan 100N, B

    - Sailor Souboku

  • Pelikan M200 Blue Marbled, F

    - Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black

  • Kaweco V12, B

    - Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black

  • Lamy 2000, vintage OF nib from a Lamy 99

    - Pelikan Edelstein Star Ruby

  • rOtring Art Pen, 1.1mm italic

    - Diamine Shimmertastic Blue Lightning

  • rOtring 600, EF

    - Pelikan Edelstein Topaz

  • rOtring 600, B

    - Pelikan Edelstein Jade

I am sure there are a few other pens inked, most likely the Woodshed Pen Co.'s 1.1mm italic, I think that one also has Diamine's Blue Lightning in it...

Edit: Just remembered that I have a pic of my EDC trio...

I love the image above!

It's just the sort of fountain pen portrait which most attracts me.

The blue M205 is a stunner.

Thank you for posting this.

Traveling this week, obviously one of M200 had to fly with me.

This week it is M200 brown marbled, CI nib, inked with Monteverde Rose Noir.

CI modified by Martin at TheWritingDesk (definitively a happy customer!)

  • 1 month later...

It's been a while I don't post here (and, apparently, nobody else :) ).

So, here are the birds inked (with some intruders). Sorry for the bad pic.

For the most part, I have no idea which ink is in them :D , other than it mostly matches the color of the pen.

Very nice! Is that the MB Brown Petit Prince on the left end? What nib did you get? Do you like it?

And a new M800 Brown. Excellent! Nice nest box!

Thanks!

Yes, it is the Petit Prince!

I got an OM in that one and I absolutely love it (are we allowed to say that of a MB in the Pelikan forum? ).

That one I know it inked with the MB Le Petit Prince Brown from this year (or whatever it is called :P ).

Thank you for such a detailed large image.

Your box has quite a colorful flock, all beautiful.

I especially enjoy seeing group shots of pens together with their deskmates.

Thank you, Tom.

Indeed it is colorful, and it has to be: I match pen and ink color, and like to have several different colors around. :)

M200 Green Marbled fine inked with Mont Blanc Permanent Blue. My MB 146 will not work with MBPB, but MBPB works fine in the M200.

That's very strange. Particularly because the PB is such a wet ink!

At the moment I've got the M400 Brown Tortoise inked up with Edelstein Smoky Quartz, and the M405 Stresemann has I *think* 4001 Brilliant Black in it (apparently I didn't keep precise enough notations, and I didn't bring the M405 with me when I was out of town for Thanksgiving.
