No I'll only modify the 800 and 1000 models. The smaller ones have press fit piston mechanisms.

OK, good to know (darn!) 800 and 1000 are just across the Goldilocks line for me. As it happens M600 is my sweet spot, but I don't know from peanuts about press fit piston mechs., M600 being a 'big' small pen, or a 'small' big pen.

Yeah, I worked on a couple, but knocking the piston mechanisms out on the smaller models is hairy. At least for me.

OK, maybe some day when I (my hand all east) grows up. And that last one, the green flake or whatever is particularly fetching, I am a sucker for a green pen.

Looking at that M1000, I think maybe I have a new pen goal! I have a green stripe M1000, and too many other brand/model black pens. But I surely would like to have another M1000 if I could have a unique look as well as the size.
